Kidder leaders serve as delegates to NAPA DC Fly-In Forum

Clive, Iowa, August 1, 2022 – Kidder Advisers CEO Keith Gredys and Vice President Matt
Gredys participated as delegates to July’s National Association of Plan Advisors DC Fly-In Forum, an
exclusive gathering of America’s leading retirement plan advisors.
Delegates met in the nation’s capital to hear from and brief congressional leaders regarding
the impact of proposed laws and regulations on American workers’ retirement security. Presentations
were delivered by Senators Ben Cardin (D-MD), John Barrasso (R-WY) and Rob Portman (R-OH), as
well as Ali Khawar, Acting Assistant Secretary for the Employee Benefits Security Administration, and
Zeena Abdul-Ragman, Branch Chief, Investment Company Rulemaking Office of the U.S. Securities and
Exchange Commission. In addition, a panel of Hill staffers and ERISA litigators provided an “inside the
Beltway” perspective on retirement issues and proactive advice on avoiding ERISA litigation. Keith
Gredys, who is Vice President of NAPA’s Leadership Council, and Matt Gredys also met privately with
Iowa Senator Joni Ernst and Senator Chuck Grassley’s tax counsel, Chris Conlin. Matt Gredys also took
the opportunity to visit with Senator Ernst regarding veterans’ issues.
The National Association of Plan Advisors, which is part of the American Retirement
Association, is the only advocacy group exclusively focused on the issues that matter to retirement
